The Ohio State Dental Board (Board) has posted draft rules for comment.  As part of the public participation process, the Board solicits and encourages input from affected organizations and individuals.

The proposed no change and amended rules are as follows:



Additionally, Senate Bill 2 of the 129th General Assembly requires state agencies, including the Board, to draft rules in collaboration with stakeholders, assess and justify any adverse impact on the business community (as defined by SB 2), and provide opportunity for the affected public to provide input on the rules.

The deadline for public comment for purposes of CSI is at the end of business on May 24th, 2019.

Amended Administrative Rules

The Ohio State Dental Board (Board) posted draft rules for comment October 2018.  Subsequent to public hearings by the Board and the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review, the following rules became effective February 4, 2019.

The amended rules are as follows:

4715-7-01 Limited resident’s license.
4715-7-02 Limited teaching license.
4715-18-01 Application for licensure of graduates of unaccredited dental colleges located outside the United States.
4715-30-01 Exemption for physicians and surgeons.
4715-40-04 Provisions for participatory agreement for the quality intervention program (QUIP).
4715-40-06 Requirements for educational provider(s) offering remediation for the quality intervention program (QUIP).
4715-40-07 Terms and conditions a participant must meet to successfully complete the quality intervention program (QUIP).
